Soybean Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce: Serves 4 to 6

1 package of Gold Harbor’s Soybean Spaghetti (7.05 oz)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small yellow onion, finely diced

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

1/2 teaspoon dry oregano

1/2 teaspoon dry Basil

2 bay leaf

1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon white pepper

Cooking Instructions:

In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes. Add diced onion, minced garlic. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, salt, oregano, basil, and ground black pepper. Heat boiling over high heat. Lower heat and simmer, with cover, for 35-45 minutes. Stir occasionally. As simmering time nears, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Salt the water with 2 teaspoons of salt and gently boil Gold Harbor’s Soybean Spaghetti for 3-5 minutes until cooked al dente. Rinse under cool running water. Pour spaghetti in the strainer to drain. Toss spaghetti with cooked sauce. Serve warm.
