Food Safety and Documentation

Gold Harbor takes great care to ensure that our suppliers and co-packing partners uphold the highest food safety standards. We are committed to safe food products for our customers as well as our friends and family. This goal is achieved through building long-term partnerships with our trusted suppliers.

Part of Gold Harbor’s due diligence process includes visits and factory inspections of our new and long-time suppliers’ facilities. Our sourcing team and management meet with our suppliers to discuss safety, quality control, facility maintenance, documentation & certifications, and social responsibility.

Documentation and independent third party audits play an important role in ensuring each facility’s food safety standards. We not only look for certifications that meet our customer’s standards, but also our own stringent requirements. Documentations and certificates vary depending upon the facility and the type of product.
